At Ocean Crest, we set out to transform a once traditional property into a timeless coastal retreat. The goal was to create harmony between the home’s facade and the surrounding landscape, adding warmth and natural textures to blend effortlessly with its environment.
The redesign of the facade finishes was a crucial element in this transformation. By introducing warm tones to the colour palette, the home now exudes a welcoming and classic coastal feel, perfectly aligned with the rest of the exterior areas. The combination of these hues with natural materials has given Ocean Crest a fresh identity that’s both modern and enduring.
Keeping with the natural beauty of the Australian coast, we utilised a variety of native plants throughout the garden beds, paired with the rich textures of natural sandstone. This approach not only enhances the aesthetic but also ensures the space remains low-maintenance—perfect for a home meant to be enjoyed rather than constantly tended to.
A key feature of the project was the design of the rear garden, where we incorporated a spacious pool area. This zone provides ample room for recreational activities, making it the perfect space for the family to relax, dine outdoors, and entertain guests. The seamless blend of functionality and style in this space allows for a year-round oasis that adapts to different moods and occasions.
Ocean Crest now stands as a true coastal sanctuary—a space where timeless design meets practicality, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere that will continue to grow in charm for years to come.
